Nathan Larson

Nathan Larson Facebook narrow Nathan Larson

In late 2008 Nathan Larson stood up for his rights – he warned another person to cease their aggressive actions against him. Due to the blatant double-standard that now exists he ended up in a cage because the person he warned was the president. Later, in 2010, when under supervised release, Nathan again asserted his self-ownership. He told his probation officer that he hadn’t harmed anyone and thus he would not submit to their demands. Again, Nathan was caged. What did Nathan do to deserve such punishment? Who had he victimized?

“Crime”: Violating supervised release. Initially caged for threatening the president

I am not sure what else to say, except that this man was the starting point for what became of my political views now.

Up until I found out about this guy online, I had never even heard term “Anarcho-Capitalist” in my life – nor was I even aware that such an ideology existed.

At last I have begun a blog for a text on the subject. Neither of the two would have ever existed had it not been for the fact that Nathan had the audacity to use the electoral process to give publicity to such esoteric views.

Pete, I thank you for giving coverage of what this man is going through. As harmless as it may have been, I personally would never engage in the kind of speech that he did, but I can understand the intention of highlighting a double-standard that has existed for centuries.

When I get the chance, I will begin writing a letter to Nathan this weekend. There is so much I wish I could say to him in person, but with the prison-state we have today it will have to be done in writing for now.

Nation’s circumstances are proof that government really takes issue with anyone who takes the same kind of action it does on a regular basis. Of all the values it promotes, competition is not one of them – especially when it comes to the use of force.

On the other hand, I hope both of you continue to uphold freedom as the important value that it really is. The two of you have definitely have had an impact on me, and I guess the only way to return the favor is to do the same for others.

    Again, thanks to you both!

**Nathan’s circumstances – then again, the original was not too inaccurate of a typo. Everyone in this nation as a whole has been robbed at some point by the state. Nathan just so happens to have gotten a bigger share confiscated.

Thanks much for sharing RJ. Hopefully you were able to act on your intentions in the few months that have passed since you left the comment.

I’m going to try to visit Nathan in Petersburg Med. in the next week or two. I filled out the gov. form (for the second time) and sent it in but was just told by Nathan’s assigned counselor that the the unit manager that has to review it is gone for the week. Hopefully when he gets back it’s green-lighted…

If you want to set he liberty movement back 20-50 years then go ahead and support this violent idiot who unfortunately name drops the books of Murray Rothbard while he advocates assassinations as the best path to liberty.

  3. Carol in dc says:

Nathan definitely has deep personality problems and should not in any way been seen as a hero. He needs therapy, not this web page.

  4. anon says:

Nathan claims as influences Murray Rothbard, Morris and Linda Tannehill, SEK3, and Mary Ruwart, and yet somehow from them got the idea that violent revolution and assassination is the way to get there from here.

Did he even read the same books I did?

Every one of those authors denounced violent revolutionism. Rothbard on tactical grounds, all the others on tactical AND MORAL grounds.

He reminds me of the underpants gnomes.
    1. Read “Healing Our World In An Age of Aggression” and “The Market for Liberty”
    2. ?
    3. Assassination campaign

I don’t think he’s a libertarian or anarcho-capitalist at all. He is just a person obsessed with violence who is not open to changing his mind on that matter. Libertarianism happens to be the convenient mantle he picked to hang that hat on. He might as well be a Maoist.

If you are honestly trying to convince him to abandon this particular insanity of his, that’s one thing. But if you’re just promoting him as-is, why?
